Indoor Miniature Golf and Winter Book Fair Sponsored by FLOW

Come join FLOW at the Miniature Golf and Winter Book Sale event inside the Nesmith Library on Saturday, March 10th, 2012. The Library will morph into an amazing 18 hole mini golf course. Navigate your way around the Nesmith, following the fairways thru the rows of books, using the help of bumpers, tubes, and other deflectors to help keep you on course! Light refreshments and other fun treats will round out the event. The Winter Book Sale will be ongoing for you to pick up a few good page turners to pass away these long winter nights.
Miniature Golf
The course will be open at 9:00 am-10:30 am for F.L.O.W. members and their families to golf for FREE. If you are not a member of F.L.O.W., but would like to take advantage of this great offer, you may sign up and receive your first benefit of being a member that morning!
At 10:30 am the course will then be opened up to the public to enjoy until 5:00 pm. The entry fee is $3 per person, or $10 for a family of 4 or more. If at this time you would like to become a member of F.L.O.W, you may sign up and receive one free entry to the course (a $3 savings). Children must be supervised by an adult while golfing. A hole- in-one on the 18th green gets a free book at our Winter Book Fair (up to a $5 value). Please note the library will be open for this unique mini golf event, but be closed for regular business on this day.
Winter Book Fair Presale
Hours are Thursday, March 8th from 4:00 pm-7:00pm. The presale is open to F.L.O.W. members, teachers and seniors only. Teachers and seniors will receive a discount during the presale. You may become a F.L.O.W. member at the book fair. The book sale will re-open on Friday, March 9th from 9:00 am-6:00 pm, and Saturday hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm in the multipurpose room at the Nesmith Library. Visit the Book Fair during the last hour of the sale on Saturday and fill a bag for just $5.
